BMW Launched New 5 Series in India, Priced at Rs. 38.9 Lakhs, Photos, Images, Pictures

BMW India launched its all new sixth generation 5-Series starting with the 535i, 530d, 523i and 525d, has been built on the modified 7-Series chassis and new 5-Series is bigger and heavier than the outgoing 5-Series model.

The new 5-Series sports a 7-Series look alike front grille, and new monocoque chassis sports double wishbone with cast-aluminium control arms at its front and Integral-V at its rear with a 8-speed transmission for the first time.

The BMW E39 automobile platform was the basis for BMW 5 Series between 1995 to 2004. BMW 5 E 39 is already fourth generation series BMW 5.
