All cars of family Cayenne become easier on the average for 10%, even in spite of the fact that in the car will appear approximately on 70 kgs more than the standard equipment. For example, the off-road car weight in updating "S" will decrease on 180 kgs — to 2,065 kgs.

Such indicators to engineers managed to achieve thanks to introduction of new production on punching of doors, modernisation of a skeleton of the body combining a high-strength steel with aluminium, installation of aluminium doors, luggage carrier and cowl covers, to introduction in the chassis of aluminium components (it has allowed to lower gross weight on 66 kgs), and also to application of other braid of wires (still a minus of 10 kgs).Also the car will have 3-l 240-strong diesel engine V6 and a hybrid power-plant total power of 380HP. All units can work together with an 8-step automatic transmission. It is expected, that in the European car market the novelty will appear on sale in May of this year.
